Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and up-to-date information regarding animals, shipment requirements, origin and destination details, and any special handling needs. Clients must ensure animals are fit for transport and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements at origin, transit points, and destination. Clients are also responsible for timely submission of required documents and for following preparation guidance provided for transport readiness. Incorrect, incomplete, or late information may result in delays, refusal of transport, additional costs, or cancellation.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotations are estimates provided for planning purposes and may change due to carrier availability, routing changes, regulatory requirements, fuel or operational surcharges, airport or port fees, quarantine costs, veterinary costs, currency fluctuations, or other external factors. A final price is confirmed only when a booking is accepted in writing.
Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after written acceptance by Global Livestock Logistics. Verbal discussions, messages, or preliminary approvals do not constitute confirmation. Clients should not assume a shipment is confirmed until they receive written confirmation.
Transport Conditions and Schedules
Transport schedules are influenced by carrier operations, weather, inspections, regulatory approvals, handling capacity, and animal welfare considerations. Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Changes to routing or scheduling may be required to protect animal welfare or comply with regulations.
Documentation and Compliance
Live animal transport is regulated. Clients may be required to provide or obtain permits, health certificates, CITES documentation (where applicable), and additional supporting documentation depending on species and destination. We may assist with documentation coordination where agreed, but regulatory outcomes remain subject to authority decisions.
Payment Terms

Any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion costs may be the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.
Limitation of Liability

Insurance
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, insurance is not included in our service fees. Clients are responsible for arranging any desired insurance coverage for animals and transport risks. We may provide guidance or facilitate coordination upon request.
Changes and Cancellations
Changes to shipment details may result in additional fees and may require new approvals. Cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
For EU clients, these terms are governed by applicable EU and local laws. For USA clients, federal and state laws apply. For Canadian clients, federal and provincial laws apply. Jurisdiction is determined by the service agreement and client location.
