Refund & Cancellation Policy
Introduction
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services provided by Global Livestock Logistics. Because live animal transport involves carrier bookings, regulatory submissions, and time-sensitive planning, certain costs may become non-refundable once incurred.
Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellations are evaluated based on the stage of service delivery at the time of the request, including whether carrier bookings have been made or documentation processes have begun.
Non-Refundable Costs
Charges may apply for work already performed, including carrier bookings, documentation processing, veterinary coordination, regulatory submissions, quarantine reservations, handling arrangements, and administrative time. If costs have already been incurred, those amounts are not refundable.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered where services have not been rendered and irreversible costs have not been incurred. Where a refund is approved, it may be reduced by any applicable processing fees or transaction costs.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds are not provided for delays or cancellations caused by regulatory decisions, animal health issues, carrier actions, force majeure events, client-provided inaccuracies, or failure to provide required documentation within requested timelines.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 14 to 30 business days depending on payment method and jurisdiction. Banking timelines and processing fees may affect the final timeframe.
